Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment (MADE)

OAKLAND’S HOME FOR PLAYABLE CULTURE

The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment (MADE) is a nonprofit, fully interactive video game museum in Oakland, dedicated to preserving game history in playable form and inspiring the next generation of digital creators.

At the MADE, visitors explore gaming history on original hardware, kids learn to make games for free, and creatives find community. We showcase contemporary independent games, encourage playful experimentation with art and technology, and bring people together to learn, create, and imagine the future of play.
